This part is no longer available from Yamaha. It has been discontinued. This part is used to cover the decompression valve. It fits the following models: 1976 Yamaha IT400C, 1977 Yamaha DT400D, 1978 Yamaha DT400E. This part is a new reproduction of the original. The originals have deteriorated with time, as they are 50+ years old. This is the second version. If you are looking for the early version, used on other models, see my other listing.
