Some useless trivia... If I remember correctly, the AMA started to require the installation of ball end levers in competition as a safety requirement around 1960. Most production bikes, all brands and countries of origin, did not come with ball end levers standard from the factory until the mid to late 1960's...

OUCCCH .... By all means folks, replace any broken levers you may have on your bikes !
I think many ... if not all, of the Japanese motorcycle companies released dangerous levers on their early models.
