What oven temp is safe to bake a newly bored cylinder after painting?
Thanks
There's no correct answer for this question, but I can tell you how I do it ...
Start at the lowest temp your oven will preheat to, and then bake for 30 minutes
2. Then add about 50 degrees more and bake for 20 more minutes
3. Lastly, add another 50 degrees and bake a remaining 10 minutes
4. Letting it cool down in oven only helps the curing time, but is not necessary
This graduated method will help reduce smoke and fumes from getting out of hand.
Run your exhaust fan(s) during the process if available
Best to choose a time when the wife is gone for the day, giving you time to air out the house as well.
.
Thank again I will follow this procedure.
