Hello and welcome!
My Name is Devin. I designed and maintain this website. It is for everyone to talk and share information, about Yamaha 2 strokes. It is mainly focused on Yamaha Enduros, but all Yamaha 2 strokes are welcome.
I have gasoline running thru my veins. I bought my first Yamaha Enduro when I was 16 years old. I currently own 170+ Yamaha Enduros. Yes, it is a real sickness! but it is better then being addicted to drugs or alcohol! š
I served 20 years in the Air Force. During that time, I deployed 8 times. I was a vehicle mechanic, and technical school instructor, teaching students, on vehicle maintenance. Now that I am retired, I can fully dedicate my time and attention to vintage Yamaha 2 Strokes.
My favorite model is the 1970 Yamaha CT1B. I love them so much, I have 17 of them. I look forward to hearing from fellow Enduroholics!
Hello everyone! My name is Gerry from Germany (near Auto-und Technikmuseum Sinsheim, between Heidelberg and Stuttgart). Iām restoring a DT 360A at the moment. The bike came from the USA 2 years ago and a lot of parts have been missing when I purchased it. It would be great to receive help and maybe parts over the forum here. Furthermore there are a BSA Golden Flash (1960), a DT 175MX (1980) and a DS 7 / 250 (1972) in the garage.
There's so much info here ,it's like a whirlwind of Yamaha Enduro everything! It's great Devin.
Hello everyone . Pete RT1 told me about this site so I watched your vlog Devin advising how to use the site and what's what.
My first Yam enduro was a 76 DT100. That would be a UK bike. However the first Yam enduro I went on was as a passenger on a candy orange CT 1 belonging to a lad called Tery Callis, who promptly rode into a barbed wire fence cutting us both to shreds. Happy days!
Hi Everyone, pleased to have come across this site!
My name Is Bruce and I live in Sydney, Australia.
I have just a small collection, all in need of parts and restoration which i plan to do myself over time.
Below is a photo of my first purchase, 7 or 8 years ago... a 68' farm wreck that will one day be a rider.
Looking forward to exploting this site further and making some great connections!
Serioulsy Devin,,,,,,,, 165 Yamahas!!! You need to post a pic(s) showing your collection.
Anything that includes At, Ct, Dt and Rt and you can count me in. I enjoy all of it, but when it comes down to favourites I have a leaning towards the earlier models and the hop-up, go-fast parts from that time. I am sure this will become a great resource for years to come. I can see a great deal of work has gone into it already, so well done Devin and Dave and look forward to the sites growth.
Regards
Ian from down in Australia
found you from Your YouTube videos, congratulations on getting the site up and running, looks great by the way, lots of fun content, my first real motorcycle was a 1970 AT 125, the year was 1972, the bike was stripped down , no lights or key switch, and had a 175 top end, I was 10 years old and rode that bike 5 or more hours every day, when I turned 15 I got a '78 DT 125 and my motorcycle permit, I've have owned a Yamaha Enduro of some sort ever since, I worked 30+ years in the motorcycle industry, raced various different types of off-road motorcycle racing most of my life. I've been on the different Yamaha Enduro groups since the Yahoogroups days, like the fresh look, thanks again for your work to get legends up and going

Nice to see some familiar names here.
First bike I owned was a DT175MX which I bought in 1986 when I was fifteen.
Rode it around the farm I lived on, blew it up, fixed it and carried on.
Got the bug for the early Yamaha enduros when I picked up an RT1 in April 2000.
The RT1 now has a new owner and the collection has grown.
I have restored a few of my bikes, but also have bikes which I love because of their originality.
Like Devin I have a soft spot for my CT1-B "The Greenie", which has been so much fun and this year carried me and my gear for a 400 mile 50/50 trail/road ride on part of the UK Trans European Trail and I'm planning to go further next year.
Greetings! I am a fan of these old Yamaha 2 strokes. The new 4 strokes just dont have much character. I have a little experience on mechanical things, but I am by no means an expert.
I currently own a few bikes, but will probably end up with more.
Glad I found this site. Can't have enough resources in this hobby. I really like what I see so far. Nicely done fellas.
Hi . . . Dave here, but probably more widely known as "Enduronut"

I'M Here !
A bit of trivia- I met Devin when he came to my house to buy my little green 74' DT100 way back when.
And I know his Dad. I ran him off the road in Moab on one of the rides we used to do. Not on purpose tho...He was following me as I was rubbernecking at all the wonderful scenery and I pinched him off the road. I still feel bad to this day for that. Sorry EN !
