Yes, you got it. There is more (see below). Keep asking questions if you want. I would hate to see you waste money or waste time. We have other very knowleable people here, that have worked for Yamaha, and graduated from the motorcycle institute (Daytona Beach Florida), & many enthusiast, that are very helpful.
Here is the CT3 Page. That has everything for your bike in one place.
OK, great thank you and if you know anybody who wants or needs this manual, let me know. I bought it off eBay before I knew about you guys. I will be happy to give it away to somebody if they need it.
We have that manual, in fact we have most manuals for most models (Free!). Here is the library for the Enduros.
I would not use that manual. I would use the correct manual. The manual you have is for a piston port engine and yours is a reed valve, among many other differences.
The title just proves ownership and has the matching vin number on the paper to prove ownership. You should be fine. The DMV will never know it’s a 1973 vs a 1969. I have atleast one mismatched title. It’s in the DMV system and if I ever want to register it or sell it, I’m good.
Thank you Devon. I can’t believe we were four years off. The guy that had it for 44 years thought it was a 1969 also and it is on the title. I better get it fixed. I’m super stoked because I am in 1973 also!
I’ve seen mis matched titles before. It’s not uncommon because the date on the vin sticker, often is from the previous year. The model is a 1973 but it was often made the previous year in Japan, and would be dated 1972. We have pieces of literature and manuals for the bike for free viewing/download.
Thanks for providing the vin number. I will order you the 1973 Yamaha CT3 coffee mug, you can keep the 1969 CT1 coffee mug you ordered. All of the parts you ordered are still correct for the 1973 CT3.
Welcome! That is a great looking survivor. Can you do me a favor and check the vin number of your bike? The bike pictured, looks to be a 1973 Yamaha CT3 175.
Welcome Brent, glad you found us
Wow . . . That's a beautiful survivor ... even has the blinker lights still on it.
Why can't I find bikes that nice? ha ha
Your awesome! Thank you brother!
This one correct?

This manual will still be good to have right?
Thank you Devin! I’m going to have my insurance card edited. Should I worry about the title?
